"A true tribute to the six million Jewish victims who died during this period."

"It's barely ten o'clock but there is already a long line of people in front of the cannons that line the square in front of the Imperial War Museum. Visitors are coming in large numbers for the reopening of the two new galleries."

For visitors, this is "a journey that shakes our emotions"

"The next room is entirely dedicated to black and white photographs of Jewish families connected to the Holocaust. With each image, an explanatory text describes the personal stories, the journey of the people represented, providing details on their profession, their passions, their life path. A true tribute to the six million Jewish victims who died during this period."

"As soon as you enter the new 'Holocaust Gallery', a sign gives a warning for the visitors' sensitivity: the elements selected and exhibited are emotionally charged. Their content may shock. A few steps further on, a 45-minute slideshow shows current images of the impact of concentration camps on the landscape in Poland, Germany, France and the Czech Republic."

"An elderly woman seems to be frozen, attentive to the slide show. This is not the first time she has visited the Galleries dedicated to this theme, but she confides how much this new exhibition touches her."
