Director Gary Shelley and Designer Ellie Stocks will be speaking alongside Kerry Vasiliou, Showtown's Learning and Engagement Manager at the Museums Association 'Show Time: Designing Great Exhibitions' conference.

The conference on 7th February examines how museums’ changing understanding of their role in broader society affects approaches to exhibition design – from sustainability and decolonisation to co-production and community engagement.

Casson Mann will be presenting on Showtown in Blackpool, the town's first museum. Opening March 2024, Showtown is a museum of fun and entertainment – a new all-singing, all-dancing experience for the whole family. The talk will cover how Showtown and Casson Mann used a co-production model and an innovative interpretation approach to create a non-traditional visitor experience.
