Inspired by Casson Mann's aroma tables at La Cité du Vin in Bordeaux, Harrods commissioned Casson Mann to design the Aroma experience for their new Fine Wine and Spirit Rooms in 2018. Casson Mann took a sensory, playful and aesthetically striking approach. A beautiful array of bell jars are presented on white stone tables, inviting visitors to explore the diversity of aromas found in wines and spirits. A physical representation of an aroma is housed inside each glass jar and innovative puffer mechanisms allow visitors to activate and smell each scent.

"Round the Aroma Table, past large bell jars full of pencil shavings, tomatoes and cherry blossoms - all chosen to represent key notes in classic wines - I spot a caterpillar crawling over a mound of golden apricots. It's clear that the person who created these exhibits had a bit of fun while they were doing it."
